With prices soaring for RAM and storage, it doesn't feel like the best time to be buying a new laptop. And, it's true, even manufacturers such as Dell are struggling to offer the same low prices I saw in previous sales events. But, the good news is that there are still some good laptop deals available in the manufacturer's latest Tech Days sale if you're shopping for a new device.

I've picked out the top offers right here, including a solid $420 saving on the Dell 14 Plus. This is the laptop that we scored an impressive four and a half stars out of five in our review, praising it as offering the "best value for its price range of any Windows laptop on the market."

This version of the Dell 14 Plus on offer nails that still, with its Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage. These combine to offer fantastic power and performance for the price, making it great for all-around use, work, and some more demanding tasks.

If you'd prefer a cheaper option, you could instead go for this Dell 15 Laptop for $239.99 (was $499.99). This looks like a great option to me if you only need a basic and capable 15-inch laptop for everyday use and light work. It's no performance powerhouse, but with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a reasonable 512GB SSD for storage, you'll have everything you need for comfortable daily use.

I've dropped in more of the best laptop deals from the Dell Tech Days sale below. It's worth pointing out that some of these recommended picks have been cheaper before, but with those pricing issues on storage and RAM not going anywhere (and potentially getting worse), I think these are some of the best offers we'll see for a while, based on my years of experience tracking laptop deals.

One of the best cheap laptops in Dell's latest sale is this Dell Laptop 15 with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a surprisingly large 512GB SSD that all work together to ensure good overall performance and enough essential speedy storage for the price. This configuration was cheaper at the end of last year, but I still recommend it now if you're on a budget and need a basic laptop for general everyday use, admin tasks, light work, or schoolwork.

If you have a good amount of cash to spend, I'd recommend picking up this version of the Dell 15 Laptop as it offers big improvements to key components by jumping up to an Intel Core i5, 16GB of RAM and a decent 512 GB SSD. That'll get you a lot more power and performance for your money, making this a solid all-around device for general use, work, video calls and multitasking, without the threat of significant slowdown.

Here's one of the best deals on a modern, all-purpose, and well-rated laptop in Dell's latest sale. With all of those components, you'll have no issues with all of your everyday computing and work needs. And at 14 inches, it's an easily portable device, too. Altogether, it's an excellent value all-around option and a laptop we scored 4.5/5 in our review.
